Back pain★★★★★

Came here for a lower back issue that had been nagging me for a while. What I appreciated most is Dhiman didn’t just treat the pain — he actually explained what was going on with my back and why it was happening. The focus was on strengthening it so it doesn’t keep coming back, not just quick relief. I left each session actually understanding my body better. Would definitely recommend if you’re dealing with back pain in Hamilton.

Workplace injury★★★★★

I came in with a workplace injury on my foot and was having trouble with mobility and pain. Dhiman was incredibly professional and passionate with his approach on my care plan. Over the weeks he helped me improve my pain and mobility allowing me to get back to full hours and duties on my job. I highly recommend him since he takes the time to listen and explain things clearly so we as clients can understand the injury and process on healing. Thank you for much for getting me back to myself.

Yes. A large share of our patients come from Hamilton, especially the West Mountain, Westdale and Dundas. Our clinic sits on Mohawk Road in Ancaster, the same Mohawk Road that runs across the Mountain. For most Hamilton patients it is a straight drive with no downtown traffic and no paid parking.

Is Ancaster part of Hamilton?

Yes. Ancaster has been part of the City of Hamilton since 2001. Our clinic is on the Ancaster side of the West Mountain, about eight minutes from the Mohawk Road and Upper Paradise area.

How far is your clinic from Hamilton Mountain?

About eight minutes from the West Mountain and about twelve from the Central Mountain, straight along Mohawk Road. From lower Hamilton and Westdale it is roughly fifteen minutes on Highway 403 or Wilson Street. From Dundas it is about ten minutes on Highway 8.

Is my first visit really free?

Yes. New patients get a full assessment and their first treatment at no charge, and we do not bill your insurance for it. There is no obligation to book anything after. If you do not need treatment, we will tell you.

How much does physiotherapy cost in Hamilton?

Your first visit is free. After that, follow-up visits are $95 for 30 minutes. We check your coverage with you first and tell you the exact fee before you book anything, so there is never a surprise bill. With direct billing, you pay only the part your plan does not cover.

Do I need a referral from my doctor?

No. In Ontario you can see a physiotherapist without a referral. Some extended health plans still want one before they reimburse you. We can help you check your plan before your visit.

Do you offer direct billing to insurance?

Yes. We bill most major insurers directly, including Sun Life, Manulife, Canada Life, Blue Cross, GreenShield and Desjardins. You pay only the portion your plan does not cover. Interlink is a private clinic and does not bill OHIP.

What happens at my first appointment?

The visit is one on one with a registered physiotherapist and runs about 60 minutes. We listen to your history and what you want to get back to, then do a hands on assessment to find the cause of the problem. You get treatment the same visit and leave knowing what is going on, what the plan looks like, and roughly how long recovery takes.

Wear clothing you can move in and bring your insurance information, plus your claim number if you have a WSIB or auto insurance claim.

Will I see the same physiotherapist every time?

Yes. You see the same registered physiotherapist from your first visit to your last. You will not be handed to an assistant, and two patients are never booked into the same slot.

Do you take WSIB and car accident claims?

Yes. We treat workplace injuries under WSIB and car accident injuries through auto insurance, and we handle the reporting for both. See our WSIB physiotherapy page and our car accident physiotherapy page for details.

Which Hamilton areas do you serve?
